Hi, I’m Simon
This is me with my boys, Henry & Fred, I love them more than a fat kid loves cake
I’m into exotic food, music from around the world, traveling to interesting places, longboarding, chocolate and of course photography, especially documentary photography.
My love of documentary photography started when I was introduced to the work of Martin Parr, the idea of a photograph saying something about the place, the people, the time and the emotion intrigues me far more than generic staged images.
I have been photographing weddings for nearly 10 years and lucky enough to work in Spain, Zimbabwe, England, Ireland, St Thomas, America and Australia. I’ve also documented couples from all walks of life and to be honest, that’s one of my favourite things about my job. Hippies, hipsters, celebrities, heads of state, millionaires and bogans, all fun!
My approach to wedding photography is not so much about endless lines of formal groups or specific shot lists, its more about telling the story of your day with beautiful images that capture the spirit and emotion without missing any of your personal special touches and details. Ultimately my goal is to provide you with images that remind you of exactly how your day felt.
My services start with 5 hour all the way up to complete coverage, I also offer albums and prints.
I'm super chilled and easy to work with.
